Let me start with my dad's arrival last Saturday, the 8th. I am a bad daughter, I completely forgot he was coming in that day. I forgot to tell Frank he was coming in that day. I also forgot to tell him he was staying the whole week. Oops. On Monday I found out dad didn't even have a suit and didn't have enough money to buy one. Guess who ended up having to foot the bill? Because, ya know, being unemployed and all, I have a ton of cash to spare.

Helped the bride with last minute things throughout the week. Had the rehearsal dinner on Tuesday night. Woke up early Thursday and it was nonstop till the reception ended at 11:30pm. The ceremony was beautiful; I cried the whole time. I couldn't help it, I was so happy to see the two of them finally wed after 20 years. Yes, I said 20 years. They've been together since they were 17. Everyone had a blast, danced all night and drank just enough to be loose but not enough to be obnoxious. I hate being "the one" everyone talks about the next day, that honor went to her eldest sister who was also a bridesmaid.

My blisters had blisters the next morning and everyone was pretty beat up but we managed to rally and that evening a bunch of the friends in for the wedding got together for one last bit of visiting before everyone went back to their homes around the country. Took dad to the airport last Saturday and spent the rest of the weekend just relaxing and playing WoW.
